A map and waypoints for our First Day of Cardigan.
On the first day of Cardigan after getting off our long bus ride, my group went to Welton Falls while drawing some things on the way there. When we arrived we played two games. We met our group and started hiking. I drew four sketches on the way there before we got to Welton Falls. When we arrived at Welton Falls we took a water test to see if the river was healthy. We collected bug species, took temperatures, acid levels, and more. I caught a couple bugs and saw a frog, we also found some leeches as well. At the end we concluded that the river was healthy and took a quick break. After that we began our hike back to the lodge. We then had dinner, it was spaghetti. We also had a quick silence activity outside in the dark. After that we were told a story about Black Beard then went to bed.
Human Environment Interactions is when humans interact or change their environment. Humans can affect the environment in many different ways such as building dams that block water, man made ponds, stone walls, paint on trees, windmills, rock walls and more. However nature can affect humans such as hurricanes, tornadoes, tsunamis, and other natural disasters are the major ways that nature can affect humans. An example of Human Environment Interactions at Cardigan is the man made pond.
